Viticulturist

The Tasting Room Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and driving sales of wine and merchandise. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality or customer service, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for wine.

We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable Tasting Room Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will excel at leading a team, creating memorable guest experiences, and achieving sales goals. The Tasting Room Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including managing staff, hosting wine tastings, coordinating events, and maintaining the tasting room’s appearance and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily tasting room operations and staff scheduling
• Host wine tastings and educate guests about wines and the winemaking process
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience, fostering a welcoming atmosphere
• Drive sales of wine and merchandise, meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Plan and coordinate events in the tasting room
• Maintain accurate sales and inventory records
• Oversee cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation of the tasting room
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
• Passion for wine and ability to educate guests about wine and winemaking
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
