Safety Manager

The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing workplace safety programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in safety management, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for fostering a culture of safety.

We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable Safety Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying risks, training staff, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. The Safety Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including conducting safety audits, developing training programs, and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Identify and address potential hazards to prevent accidents and injuries
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and management
• Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to safety activities
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in safety management or a related role
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and best practices (e.g., OSHA, NFPA)
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST) preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to perform site inspections and lift up to 50 pounds if needed
